GIRL POWER!!! STRENGTH OF A WOMAN...

Then the Lord God said "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him"... So  the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh; and the rib which the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

There, you have it, the fine and memorable biblical text apparently proves that women are men's sidekicks. Not bad, especially when you analyze the enviable cohesion and successful adventures of Batman and Robin, two heads are indeed better than one.
However do not get me wrong, women are not second fiddle.
I don't know if surprising is the appropriate word to describe the scenario with, but if not for the somewhat salient strength of women, there is perhaps a very high tendency that the planet earth could have spiraled out of control due to inevitable violence borne out of egocentric manly menace.
As Eleanor Roosevelt beautifully put it;
"A woman is like a tea-bag, you can't tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water".

New studies have continued to prove that women are smarter than men. They have higher concentration, organization and much more passion in following up the completion of tasks and responsibilities put in their charge till the very end.
Even in the Animal Kingdom, the female species of most animals are known to be the extremely vicious ones. They are protective of their off springs, they hunt for food for their family, and are out-rightly jealous if a fellow female kind violates their territorial rule and tries to steal their "men", and they definitely are not afraid to fight to death in its regard.

Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition...Timothy Leary.

Honestly, from my perspective, i genuinely agree that women are in a class of their own. They are a peculiar kind of human that God specifically designed to complement the activities of men, despite their strength.
No doubt that man is designed to be physically active, able to pull down a mountain and challenge the leviathan. Women have the strength of matters pertaining to the heart, hence love which potently conquers all.

Women have always been the strong ones of the world. The men are always seeking from women a little pillow to put their heads down on. They are always longing for the mother who held them as infants...Coco Chanel.

No matter how big, strong and tough or wild a man may be, a woman has the key to taming him. This creates a psychological testimony, creating hormonal balance, thus making the world a peaceful and better place.

Little wonder women love the music of Shaggy titled "Strength of a Woman", hmm, who doesn't like to be celebrated, especially when there is indeed a possibility that you have mysterious and mythical powers that even the sages have no clear explanation for.

Although women have been attributed to a whole lot of havoc which the world trembled at and almost got completely annihilated from mere brushing through the whiskers of their fury.

Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned...William Congreve.

They are known to have brought down great men due to mere burns which the mystery of their power inflicted on their souls (Samson and Delilah).
They have also taken many a men to great heights which they probably would have never achieved if not for the subtle bites and kisses of the so called weaker vessels or is it sex? (Barack and Michele Obama.

Who can tame and even ride on a Tiger better than a woman? She would succumb to his snarl with feigned weakness, intimidate his prowl with a soft caress, she will skillfully magnify his ego in his own very eyes with the submissive purr of a cat and when he slumbers on her laps, she owns his soul and controls his destiny.
Indeed women have power.
Women are truly a vital part of the society, from the domestic perspective where they are calmer when dealing with the kids so much that the homework session goes smoothly (how many men have that patience? Even if they are getting paid for it), to the highest levels of government where they passionately and sometimes totally embrace principles and the laws which govern the Earth to make policies work. A good example is the great Margaret "Iron Lady" Thatcher God rest her soul.
Back in school, which bully dare whoops my bum? All i have to do is tell my mom, and the school might just be turned up side down, except of course if i can't afford to let the nasty boys that are up to no good shatter my ego especially by calling me "mommies boy".

So fellas, treat that woman like a queen, your mother, your wife or even that average girl from across the street, and you will be stunned at how powerful she is and at how much colour she could generously add to your life.

FROM INSPIRATION TO BRAIN CHILD & BEYOND LIFE...

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. Buddha.

I remember very well a fine story that i heard or rather eavesdropped while someone i usually saw in passing told a young lad at a park many years ago. It sounded superficial, but there hasn't been proof of weather it isn't true up till now, so brace yourself as it goes like this.
After God had finished molding man in his own image, just before he proceeded to fill him with the breath of life, he paused to the amazement of the anxious angels that gathered up there in Heaven.

Angel's RejoicingThen God asked the multitude of angels,
"Now that we are about to send man down into earth, we do realize that he is deserving of treasures, but shall we place them at his feet?"
"If i may my Lord, answered one of the angels, perhaps man shall appreciate the value of his wonderful treasures if they are buried in within the crust of the earth". I think not! replied another angel, "i think the treasures should be put atop the tallest mountain."
As God smiled in amazement, so did another angel said that the treasures should be kept under the rocks of the deepest ocean.
After a lot of angels gave their ideas and were exhausted, one angel that was apparently quiet and attentive the whole time got up to
speak.

"My lord, we have been very attentive while you carefully molded this very fine creature we call man. You took your time to add into him very many little detail, gently marrying his intellect with his stamina giving him grace and astonishing gait, as you selflessly establish all your awesome features into him. In that case, he shall be very inquisitive so much that he shall dig deep into the earth till he meets with the core, he will be so anxious that he will climb the highest mountain, the will to unravel the mystery behind the leviathan of the sea should spur him to lift the rock that gently rests at the base of the deepest sea.
After his quest for knowledge and his encounter of wisdom, he shall tire, and when he makes to rest, he shall then embark on a journey deep into his heart, the heart which flows with the issues of life, that he shall soon learn to diligently guard, deep in his heart where his treasures he shall cherish with all his life and his soul if he encounters it therein with the sobriety of the sages..

Little wonder why i really like Helen Keller's quote "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched-they must be felt with the heart.

You will agree with me that the world used to be a jungle where our forefathers had to adapt to in order to survive and constantly re-procreate, until evolution gradually took place and man started to go the extra mile in being creative. Creative in the obvious sense of inventing stuffs out of necessity so that we can live a better life.
Life has now become a testimony unto man, at the press of a button you can get your laundry done, you can watch live streaming media, you can run several miles in the comfort of your living room (treadmill), and you might as well create a variety of cuisines from our idea of a modest kitchen.

It is true and realistic that no one needs to re-invent the wheel, its just that we that have by default become passengers of the "Jet Age" most times ride carelessly on the leverage that creative men painstakingly went out of their comfort zones, amid sweat, blood and tears to make awesome discoveries that make life a better place to live in. Although the strive to discover and invent those things is what makes them feel alive and relevant anyway, but even at that i feel it is quite imperative to acknowledge them.

Man is a spiritual being having human experience, that is why the onus is upon him to first love and take care of himself before he can proceed to replicate the feeling to his environment.
The experiences which prevail over him together with his surroundings depending on the rate of intensity and his positive mental attitude and his capacity to hold on give him a great insight, vision and inspiration to invent the very item at a particular time that will change the course of  humanity beyond life.

TERRORISM...OF THE MIND AND THE OTHER WAY ROUND!

Apparently, every kid can spell terrorism with ease these days as its search constantly hits perhaps about a million daily through search engine giant Google, as different strikes occur every now and then. Too bad right? i'd say.
Unfortunately or perhaps if there is a better word to describe it, especially if it can in this context be synonymous with "naturally", we easily fall back into our comfort zones shortly after the dust settles from another bomb explosion. We mourn the casualties, comfort the bereaved, pray for guidance and protection, thank God we are alive, and then move on, and deep down in our hearts we secretly tremble with an involuntary anticipation of another strike which we cannot possibly guaranty that our government can in any way avert.

Jean Baudrillard of The European Graduate school did a fine intellectual piece about "The Mind of Terrorism" an excerpt of which goes thus.

"We have had plenty of global events in recent years, from the death of Diana to the world cup, as well as plenty of violent and real events, from wars to genocides. But a symbolic event global in reach, an event that is not only broadcast worldwide but that threatens globalization itself had not yet occurred. For the lenght of the stagnant nineties, in the words of Argentine writer Macedonio Fernandez, "events were on strike" Well, the strike is over.
Events are back at work. With the attack on the World Trade Center, we have now witnessed the ultimate event, the mother of all events, an event so pure it contains within it all the events that never took place.

All the speeches and commentaries made since September 11 betray a gigantic post-traumatic ab-reaction both to the event itself and to the fascination that it exerts. The moral condemnation and the sacred union against terrorism are directly proportional to the prodigious jubilation felt at having seen this global superpower destroyed, because it was this insufferable superpower that gave rise both to the violence now spreading throughout the world and to the terrorist imagination that (without knowing it) dwells within us all"

How do you really identify a terrorist in a food chain which determines the aftermath of the healthy existence of an Eco system?
Who is the "Antagonist" and whom can we refer to as the "Protagonist" in the scenario?
When ants eat the worm, and a lizard eats the ants, then a bird consumes the lizard, only for the fox to feast on the bird, while the lion makes the fox it's meal.

In real life situation, it is actually survival of the fittest where dog eats dog, not necessarily in a dog eating contest. The Pareto Principle still potently applies. A few people naturally have leadership potential and easily rise to the top of the food chain where dinner is conveniently served in a gold platter.
It will be easy, more like playing a game of chess with real people.

In a lighter view, or perhaps in a deliberate fashion of peripheral perspective (which is absolutely questionable), who do we consider a terrorist, the one who challenges me for my resources on my soil or i that bravely stands up to fight for my right? In line with principles the table actually turns. We become different people at different times depending on the different prevailing circumstance at each point in time.
Our inquisitiveness, diversification and versatility usually determine how well we unleash the truth and how eventually bewildered we become by the fact we choose to embrace and the complementing contrast.
Whatever happens or the world comes up with, they are sure to either blow us all up, or simply blow up our minds, and yes, just like terrorists.

OMG: IS MOTHER EARTH CHOKING US?

Psychologist Fathali M. Moghaddam, Director of the conflict studies program at Georgetown University, explains how and why worldwide insecurity is rising and what steps we must take to quell or reverse that insecurity to make the future of the world more peaceful in his book, The New Global Insecurity: How Terrorism, Environmental Collapse, Economic Inequalities and Resources shortages are changing our world.

The book identifies globalization, the increasing diversity of population, and other sources of threat, insecurity and frustration in our contemporary world.  It shows how they affect our effectiveness and well being and contribute to violence between groups, to terrorism and torture.                                                              This wide-ranging book considers traditional approaches to dealing with diversity, and points to a new approach based on scientific research and understanding of human nature

From my undiluted perspective, humans are as simple as they are complicated in relative terms, obviously depending on prevailing circumstances. As Anais Nin beautifully and clearly put it "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are".
Our self concepts, insecurities, hopes and expectations all add up to determine how we react to interests conflicting or complimentary. Ranging from religion to education to culture and even political orientation usually based on hypothetical stereotypes, which amass a great amount of ambiguity that seem to overwhelm us, making us see only the impossibility of solving life's problems and mysteries.

Even if there exists a secret recipe capable of transforming the world into the perfect haven we endlessly long for, there continues to rise the tendency of such scenario never occurring. The world is filled with conspiracies, propaganda, monopolies, classified information, political undertone, being covered under the vices of religion, youth restiveness along with modern slavery and colonialism etc.

Hollywood is highly respected because of the adaptation of originality and content into motion picture under the supervision of credible censors board, in this light i shall not fail to make reference to a movie "The Adjustment Bureau" starring Matt Damon. The movie though entertaining, also educated us that what happens in every society is pre-determined, like we are acting a script of how highly placed and powerful group of people have designed the world to be.
Weather or not this is true, i really cannot tell, but i believe there is always an element of fact in every book or movie, except of course for natural disasters.

If Globalization is meant to bring us closer together so that we can share, enjoy and benefit from our diversity, then we must very much understand that some friction is inevitable, but when it spirals out of control so much that the world seems to frown at our union and spiritual bonding, do we still say life is perfect and that the world is beautiful?
Brothers have started to kill brothers for material gains, religious causes and lack of direction and understanding of ourselves and our future.
We constantly live in fear for our lives in terms of insecurities of food, shelter, clothing and health.
Most people walking the streets are psychologically imbalanced and no one knows when anyone can just lose it and become terrorists.
Even the new motion pictures such as After Earth, World war Z, Oblivion and the likes give a probable indication that the worst is highly anticipated, taking advantage of people's fear to enrich the box office.
Maybe indeed Mother Earth is choking us, but we are the cause,
Sadly, i don't have an answer, but i think if we come together to join our perspectives, perhaps we can chart a course that will lead to a path of discovery. Only if we co-operate.

THE POLICE IS YOUR FRIEND... (PART 2)

Thank you very much for checking out the critical lyric blog, we strongly apologize for the quality of the last visuals, secondly, the brief history was designed to create a launch pad for for the next critique session, building up on a humble beginning, well structured or not, measuring the justification of the present state. Enjoy.

Firstly, if English language is our lingual franca, shouldn't the English language scholars correct the name of our police, i mean it should be the Nigeria(n) Police Force as opposed to "Nigeria" without the "n" at the end, i remember that being possessive noun back in my English language class. Someone please save us the national embarrassment that has lingered for as long as i can remember.

Straight to the point, is the police really your friend? Of course they are also human, only that they are permitted by law to use force where necessary to curb or prevent crime as the case may be. Hmm.
How then do we honestly and effectively rate the police in a country where corruption thrives like the air we breathe?
Over time, there have arisen several cases, proven and otherwise, of the police committing unbelievable atrocities that even the average citizen dares not perform.
Well, i am not here to judge the police, but i want to x-ray the cause of the problem that doesn't let us trust the police a hundred percent, especially here in Nigeria.

Wikipedia defines police corruption as a form of police misconduct in which law enforcing officers seek personal gain, such as money, or career advancement through the abuse of power, for example, by accepting bribes so as not to pursue an investigation or arrest.
When people say they are not well paid in Nigeria, i worry, although part of it is true, but due to the fact that i do not want to follow the crowd mentality and sound like everybody else, i take time out to think things further through and do a little research.

For a nation to be vibrant and successful, certain things have to be put in place right?
It's just like when you want to cook a perfect meal, the necessary things have to be put in place, cooking gas, utensils, oil, seasoning, cutlery etc. Also when you want to make music, the band should have drum sets, guitars, keyboards and not to make little.
Therefore a nation which works should have appropriate infrastructure such as power, roads, schools, hospital, security to mention but a few.
This is a rhythm of systemic principles that cannot be toyed with in order to ensure a a positively anticipated outcome, created by design in a shared vision of credible people (thinkers) with sound mind..
Apparently, science has taken over the world, call it jet age, information age or whatever, but wisdom and positive mental attitude further strengthens us to see that our nose is right under our very nose, opening the horizons of our thoughts and actions with vast consideration of emotional intelligence, as the systems approach helps give fresh solutions to complex problems, combining science and practical common sense.

When all these infrastructures are not available or not working effectively, citizens are are bound to spend the money they don't even have, causing a budget inconsistency, luring them into being corrupt, as no one can predict the level of discipline a man can hold himself up to at certain times when his environment pressurizes him.

John Egbeazien Oshodi (Ph.D.) delivered a fine piece in the Punch newspaper of 22nd May 2013 about compensation for the slain police officers' families. These unequipped, ill motivated, poorly paid officers that have been denied efficient infrastructure and that have not had a genuine reason to be extremely loyal to their nation were cut short in the line of national duty in the heat of insecurity and threat to the stability of their dear nation.

They unceremoniously passed away, leaving behind a family they couldn't even take good care of in the first place to a nation that can hardly keep records of her citizens, nor can adequately take care of her citizens present, not to talk of future. Then out of obvious sentimentality and banal protocol due to the glaring inquisitiveness of the recently aware citizenry, with disdain and shameless hypocrisy and bias, they promise to give the victims' families certain monies according to cadre in the police force, or do we just say hierarchy? like death recognizes your degrees.
Additionally, believe it or not, if the families do get the monies promised them at all, it is probably going to take forever, and half of it will most probably go into shady paper work and protocol (classified procedures).
This is more than enough reason for the police to be grossly irresponsibly, i don't have the solution, but i only seek to constructively criticize, is it a moral justification?
Come on guys, lets help ourselves, only then can we assist the police, remember they are humans, they are among us, and they are our friends..

THE POLICE IS YOUR FRIEND...AN APPETIZING HISTORY (PART 1)

The police are a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder.[1] Their powers include the legitimized use of force. The term is most commonly associated with police services of a state that are authorized to exercise the police power of that state within a defined legal or territorial area of responsibility. Police forces are often defined as being separate from military or other organizations involved in the defense of the state against foreign aggressors; however, gendarmerie are military units charged with civil policing.
Law enforcement, however, constitutes only part of policing activity.[2] Policing has included an array of activities in different situations, but the predominant ones are concerned with the preservation of order.[3] In some societies, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, these developed within the context of maintaining the class system and the protection of private property.[4] Some parts of the world may suffer from police corruption. (WIKIPEDIA)

History of Nigeria Police Force

Colonial Police
In April 1861, the British Consul in Lagos obtained permission from his principal in London to establish a Consular Guard comprising of 30 men. Two years later in 1863, this small body of men became known as the "Hausa Guard". It was further regularized in 1879 by an Ordinance creating a Constabulary for the Colony of Lagos.
An Inspector-General of Police commanded this Force recruited mainly from Hausas and known as the "Hausa Constabulary". On 1st January 1896, the Lagos Police Force was created and armed like the "Hausa Constabulary". While the developments were taking place in Lagos and part of the Yoruba heartland, the areas now known as Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, River and Cross River States were declared the Oil Rivers protectorate in 1891 with Headquarters at Calabar where an armed constabulary was formed.
In 1893 the area was proclaimed the Niger Coast. Constabulary, modeled on the Hausa Constabulary, was formed. It existed for six years and featured prominently in the British expedition to Benin in 1896. In the Northern parts of the Country the Royal Niger Company, which was granted a Royal Charter in 1886 by the British Government, set up the Royal Niger Constabulary in 1888 with Headquarters at Lokoja to protect its installations along the banks of the River Niger. It had a mounted company known as Carrol’s Hoses.
The Royal Niger Constabulary played an important role in British campaigns against Bida and Ilorin. When the British Government in 1900 following the transfer of administration from the Royal Niger Company proclaimed protectorates of Northern and Southern Nigeria, the Royal Niger Constabulary was split into the Northern Nigeria Police Force and the Northern Nigeria Regiment. In the South, the Lagos Police Force and part of the Niger Coast Constabulary became the southern Nigeria Police Force in 1906 while the bulk of the Niger Coast Constabulary formed the southern Nigeria Regiments.

EXTREMISM OF BIASED SENTIMENTALITY....

"Fortunately for serious minds, a bias recognized is a bias sterilized"
Benjamin Hayden.

One cold and perhaps frosty morning, precisely June last year, i was at Area 3 junction in the Nigerian federal capital territory, Abuja, waiting for a cab.
Then as i glanced at my left hand side, i saw a young man presumably in his late thirties holding in his hand the days newspaper i happened not to have seen. So i instinctively asked politely if i could browse through it briskly before our cabs came, and he kindly obliged.
The paper carried the news of insecurities in the country ranging from the recent terrorism and heightened level of corruption. After i browsed through it briefly, my cab arrived, so naturally, i returned the paper to the man and i promptly thanked him as i also said "God will help us".
Unexpectedly, the man got angry and was not afraid to show it. He snatched his paper off me violently and accused me of joining the band wagon of biased, sentimental hypocrites, expecting God to come down to help us when we have refused to help ourselves.

While my cab took me on my highly anticipated ride, i reflected on what the man at the bus stop said, and something stayed with me.
Believe it or not, but Nigeria is a country where people pray for electric power to come on, for the roads to be repaired, for a bus or cab to show up, for the traffic to ease out, for salaries to increase, for prices of items to come down, all without physically doing a thing about it.
The international community has called Nigerians many names or rather tagged Nigerians with many titles such as happiest people, most populous black nation, developing nation blessed with both natural and human resources. Well, these are mere flattery titles compared to the contrary that realists would rather say, as the most corrupt and socially irresponsible nation, and to top it, a bunch of opportunistic so called leaders enveloped with greed, short sight, hypocrisy and consistent negligence of the heavenly principles that emphasizes observance of the laws which govern the earth.

A popular Yoruba proverb says that so far a Landlord lives, his house cannot be overrun by bush. Another one says that once there is an elder in a place, a child will be well taken care of, in terms of morals and welfare, depending on the capacity of his wisdom.
The cue from these proverbs balls down on the leadership potential in Nigeria. Sometimes i wonder why there is a lot of neglect for the average citizen while the politicians over-pay themselves and still loot the national treasury. Then i realized that its is an all encompassing spate of selfishness and a total embrace of the default negative stereotype that in some way or another haunts us all, as we are a product of our environment, and thought.
Stephen. R. Covey takes us on a safe journey into the world of principles in his best seller, 7 habits of highly effective people. He carefully explained in a step by step order how to react to situations we cannot control so as not to destroy our minds and our lives with anger, fear and worry over things we have no power over.
Rather, he emphasized the need for building better relationships and healthier psychology through selflessness.

He further melted our hearts in his additional effort in his "8 habit, from effectiveness to greatness" by summarizing the essence of life as finding your voice and helping others find their's as well.

Everyone in the world wants to live in America, why? I know three reasons for sure, it is because America is so well structured in such a way that they have become economically sound enough to be respected as world power, there you are free to express yourself and you can be whatever you want to be so far you can dream it and work as hard for it.
This is possible because their fore-fathers understood the principles that govern the earth, and they inculcated
in them enough positive mental attitude to face any obstacle head-on and make the most of it.
This is why they have less stigma for poverty, diseases and deformities.
Back here in Africa, we really fear what we don't understand and we destructively criticize them, except they happen to us or members of our families.
That is why we are considered the most religious, we pray for everything to happen the way we want without realistically tackling the issue.
This only makes us unfair to ourselves as we become vulnerable to the ugly claw of bias and extreme sentimentality.

LIVING...FOR DUMMIES: VARYING SHADES OF VALUES.

Similar to the scenario which surrounded Robert Kiyosaki in his fine Rich Dad, Poor Dad series, my friend's dad summarized a simple but critical text for her to carefully meditate upon which read thus, "Grow before you glow".
This simple text apparently exhibits the rhyme feature out of coincidence even if it incites poetic intelligence in some way. The sentence also probably has the tendency to summarize the entirety of human behavioral pattern in direct proportion to the character of our present immediate environment.
As the saying goes "talent is not enough, one must also have a talent for luck", luck itself does not come easy, it happens when preparedness coincides with opportunity.

Its funny how life is simple yet complicated. An example is how scientists tell us that air is a mixture of gases, blood vessels have millions of cells, there also exists helpful bacteria, the interesting mystery of the human healing process, imperativity of interaction and not to make little.
Perhaps our population explosion is but for one cogent reason, so that we all can take a stand and try to do our little part in the great endeavour to make the world a better place.

An important recipe for a better place is the instill of values in the younger ones, by style or force, else the kid thinks its right for him to get a second cone of ice cream as well as eating cake and even having a lot more to go with it. Even the holy book advises us not to spare the rod else the child gets spoilt and heads for only God knows where (not pleasant by the way).

Youths of the new millennium are most probably going to sell their souls to be popular, have money and have a million followers on twitter. A teenager will wear expensive apparel which he couldn't even afford in the first place, and still brag about it. In fairness to them, they have a whole lot of role models to take after. The godfathers that misappropriate national funds which disorientates their self concept and causes them to alter the natural eco-system causing a spill-over and negative multiplier effect on the immediate environment.
The aftermath is that goods get over-priced especially in a non-producing economy which has dilapidated infrastructure and restive, unemployed youth that have no genuine guidance, but rather blindly and desperately seek direction.

So what then is the solution? honestly i do not expressly have an answer, but i doubt if we really need to re-invent the wheel.
Many nations have got it right even if they are not perfect, at least they told themselves the truth and they stuck by the principles to create a fine model of a systematic structure. Sounds vague? lets use USA as our model then. Despite their controversies, we still unconsciously consider them world power, the land of the free where even terrorists feel safe even to fully express themselves.

Nigeria to some point has not moved as far as we wish because sabotage is the watch word of many high placed office holders, but even if the entire infrastructure is in place, who are the people to optimally use them?
They cannot be well maintained neither can they be sustained because it will all seem like a waste as the citizens have not been adequately taken care of and given a sense of belonging to guard the nation's property with faith and loyalty.
Would you give a monkey a new shirt?

ABEG!!! DON'T DOWNGRADE ME...

Beyonce composed a lyric that struck a cord in me in her 2009 song "upgrade you". she displayed the skills of a purring tigress, feigning a flamboyant seductress or perhaps a lavishly spoilt and extravagant queen, exhibiting her glory in order to entice a male counterpart. The fact that we know her rapper hubby Jay Z is equally well to do suggests that she's probably teaching him how to spend his fortune or shes bountifully complementing it.
In reality, stagnant water really does stink, no right thinking human being wants to remain in one spot, naturally. Even kids want to explore and exploit their environment, facing their fear, protecting their territory and of course discovering new grounds.

This is a natural principle which enables one to keep pushing forward especially if he makes little progress from time to time as his curiosity receives more and more satisfaction.

So who wants a downgrade?, well i guess that will only be one who is in electric shock, of course he'll want the current passing through him to be downgraded and also one in a turbulent aircraft "come down gently", or as Ludacris would like it "how low can you go?".

Seriously though, don't you dare embarrass me in public, that will only tempt me to hate you because of the perhaps ignorance that makes you to destructively criticize, or as Stephen .R Covey of blessed memory perfectly puts it in his internationally acclaimed world best seller 7 habits of highly effective people, about what happens when a father scolds his daughter sternly enough to disgrace her " she becomes outwardly submissive but inwardly rebellious, suppressing cruel feelings only to come out in the future in uglier ways".

So in other wards, we are nice for our own good, and cruel to our detriment. Downgrading someone can get an immediate reaction of defensiveness from an explosive person, and can on the other hand be bottled up in the seclusive mind of an implosive person and may in the future blow up in our faces like the bomb of terrorists.
